AND LET'S STOP PRETENDING THIS IS SPOOKY!

         Odd that title.  I kinda like it.  It’s the truth.  You may or may not buy the whole line of Quantum Mechanical Research and it’s INCREDIBLY charming “damn how did we miss the moment BEFORE anything existed… geez… we really gotta see that…” ignorance of its self-answering question.

         But see, this HERE BLOG NOW is about how Led Zeppelin added to a well worn concept of LIVE MUSIC the sudden introduction of the abstraction of TIME?  Well that was new. 

         And stolen I am sure.  I am totally sure that the guy people call a rip off artist and I say… “hey asked to play ‘just like that’ in some sessions, he said, ‘now it’s mine’ and he is damned close to right… not to mention who would GIVE ONE FLIP if it weren’t for him ripping it off…

         Proper nouns?  Okay, Pagey I refer to YOU, that guitar player of paintings, and chef of orchestrations and then there is a hunch… based on flimsy science and even flimsier magical theory that if you can make something hit a sense that wasn’t expecting it?  You just might hit the exactly right spot.  Don’t play dumb.  You do that and people think there is a secret here!  The secrets are crushing you had you not noticed this?  Don’t let the mystical crowd up you SOLID TECHNOLOGY… and gifts you were born to share.

         It bothers people I get that.  And yet, we are still not to the molecular level much less Quantum.  In fact let’s just call my system of belief and faith in NATURE and what I define as reality involves FREE WILL for each and every particle in my system.  I don’t think I will wake up different, with two arms on one side, or a brain that can calculate at a multi-variable level, it isn’t that good a chance of an anomaly… the system is so big!  Each individual has reactions to things that are unique, so what do they share?

         Guts.  They share the gut level feelings that make up the sum of our historical record.  We don’t talk about the stupid illogical bad turns of reason, we talk about guts.  We like the idea… to go on your guts (which is mere awareness at a more diligent and targeted level… I do it naturally… sort of like that PSYCH guy?) some do that errantly.

         So how do you tune the audience?  You can tune instruments all day to exotic and derivative and combinations that thrill the ears.  With the talent of Jimmy Page there is no effort to be a guitar PLAYER at all.  He is in love with it, he cooperates and begs… he challenges the very nature of perfection with pieces written that would NEVER BE EASY TO PLAY… and yet… keep on trying.

         The minute off stage… have a little breather and then back to it if it were physically feasible.  No, this was a trance walking deeper into another reality.  Don’t ARGUE with me, I am not kidding here.

         And as he did this, the particles were made to share an Electro-Magnetic Field… now fight the Theremin or EASE INTO IT… it is difficult sometimes hearing these shows to understand why I never felt it at the time, but it’s pretty clear now I was born tuned to it.

         Then there is… a real attempt to bring the audience with him… to that somewhere else, where moments are hours and things have no form.  This is the artist’s space.  This is where the moments are born.  We all know that place, even if you won’t admit it.  You all have had things pop into your mind to solve or resolve or redirect or REACT to things which were never anticipated and you have just felt so SLOWED DOWN at those moments. 

         Well, once you start bouncing things around with that bow… but see it starts so much earlier in any show than that, and unfortunately the difference in the years (and the proximity, because I have really avoided shows I remember, those are memories… I don’t want good soundboards to screw up my personal soundtrack… like remastering history or something!)   

         It’s almost like you know all this, all of you who listen to this work, who know anything at all about this person Page and the things that were and are in some fashion still important to him.  Many treat this GLEEFULLY WITH MYSTICAL NONSENSE SURROUNDING IT…

         NOT helping.  Not helping anyone.  Perhaps sometime I will feel the need to waste my time and talk about the HOW THE HECK DID THAT GET PUBLISHED “FALLEN ANGEL”…. but not today.

         I am into this fourth dimension.  I can’t say how EACH PERSON can find it in the music.  I don’t know if you ever felt/saw/tasted/heard/smelled/sensed it before! 

         This is not “wow they played so great it was like it was over too fast…” no this experience is quite another and it is where all the fear is.  It is where the creation of monsters never existing in our defensive souls sending cold chills down spines, instead of gentle old hedgerow bustles!  What is the problem with something sort of different happening to our senses that it has to be claimed by some order of some sect of some faith of something that either finds FOR or AGAINST?

         It is mere behavior and expectation.  It goes on non-stop, it is the whole gig to do it more traditionally.  If you talk to guitar players they have this love for him but few wish to even remotely attempt to play as Page does LIVE.  It would be stupid, you would have to BE HIM to play those things. 
 

         It would be giving someone else’s fingerprints.  Can’t do it.  And there is so much more I can tell you about more specific things in the music if you can knock down what’s remaining of the wall that will not accept you are not hearing something chartable as beautiful…. What is beautiful is the entire interaction and it’s ultimate outlets of profound change in one’s way of perceiving the illusion.

         ILLUSION IS NOT OTHERWORDLY….it may seem that way, and it is not easy to accept that some of it is not as illusion as a commercial magician does… and is truly the will in control of their environment.  I know of few to none who can do so for a period of a time that was notable.

         But then time is on the table here….

         Over the Hills and Far Away… a song with soaring delicate beauty, an out and out assault on the senses when you were just sort of falling into a calm lull?  There is a way of holding a note just… well again we talk of an algorithm and there IS NOT ONE, I have written on that before.  Time is abstracted… each moment you think you have a good measurement for on your insides?  Check again, or please don’t!  It is the extra buzz, it is all natural, and only making it EVIL is there any evil in it at all!  Good will is all that is required, and that is available… just so much less DRAMA than acrimony?  Seems a damned dumb reason to proliferate … falsehoods…

         Opening with THE IMMIGRANT SONG was an inspired choice… there is an out of play solo in it which is not even paying any attention to the tempo… a tempo that isn’t messing around, it is stomping soldiers…

         But there is someone playing in another dimension… out of time, now mowed down… Very tricky and very innate to him, perhaps that is the only way in which he might have used this gift in a socially acceptable way! 

         And get a decent paycheck. 

         If these “MYSTICAL AND SECRET” tags remain on this music, on this man I fear he will not find the road is getting easier.  He knows it is not.  And his own inability to say..

         And there are at least FOUR distinct teams vying for CONTROL OF SCARY PERCEPTION… and at least ONE FOURTH of those think Jimmy is the devil… or the antichrist… yep… helpful all this smoke and mirrors… the real power of our consciousness is so profound, why franchise it, or even try to find another’s way of using it?  Is that not why we distinguish as individuals? 

         So when Page says “in the stars” and “mystical configuration”?  He should be saying… “good plan, perfectly executed, though I was unsure of the plan at the start of it…” 

         Now that means not able to be recreated in a lab, so why say things like “mystical configuration”? DO WE HAVE TO TALK ALL SPOOKY?  Aren’t we showing a little less than love to have ourselves be FEARED for the access or simple awareness of this power?

         It’s what brings the weirdos out of the woodwork to take you on like you actually can threaten their FAITH by saying “SO HOW DID YOU FIND THIS FAITH?” and MEANING IT!

         It is part of my journey to ask this. 

         It is part of my role in the world (HEY MY PARTICLES ARE SCREAMING THIS TO ME) to take the mystic out of magic.  I don’t really care what letters you use, it’s too confusing to me to use something I learned to type fast spelled that way.  I don’t give one rats buttocks how that is received.

         Truth is, you should really take a … whatever it is you need to take but it shouldn’t need to be chemical… and listen to these live shows… listen to the way they are one little part of the larger work of your system.

         Allow yourself to be uncomfortable for a minute and chase that crazy dragon suited fellow down the rabbit hole… see what is there inside you… you might find you don’t mind you at all?

         Society is ready to stop acting like manipulations of nature’s odd and sometimes confounding way is not really bizarre and that things that are THAT bizarre?  Are just boloney! 

         Take the ride… you can always scurry back?

         And hey, being born with it in you is not so odd as one might believe.  We are all slayers… chosen my ass… this thing we know as eternal truth?

         Belongs to everyone, and if they wanna learn the secret handshake?  I guess they can.  BUT DON’T CALL IT SECRET… just it is YOURS… that is the whole of the law I think I heard somewhere…

Part of my trick is in some alarm that the moments I have lost are in sound way not found...

         Well that’s fine.  You can be in that space and it is a very safe space (that’s why most love it so much!) where you have rules about things like NATURE and how RATIONAL things are just that. 

         I heard on the program ENTERPRISE, T’Pol say “The Vulcan Science Ministry has deteremined that time travel is not possible.”

         Too bad that’s bullshit.  The further you get from gravity etc. which is HOLDING YOU HERE?  Top of a mountain or up in the space shuttle?  Time is not passing at the same rate.  We are talking little tiny bits of time… smaller than I have a useful word for, but it is different.  Time is DENTED… TIME is not always so easy to pin down as it wants to be.

         So, what on earth is this statement that such a wave as made by not only MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS but the unique signature of that sound wave due to amplification?  Why my goodness, there is a whole portion of many of these shows here at LED ZEPPELIN RADIO that are dedicated to tuning the audience to the same underlying modulations. 

         Sounds sexy?  Well it is.  But that part is sort of so said no one is saying it anymore, so let me talk about the COMMON PRINCIPLES that make us all able to access this “EXTRA ZIPP OF ZEPP” if you just … let it happen to you. 

         I would start by saying that until 2003?  This whole band, much less any recordings of shows to me of any band were GONE… and I was totally delighted by that, and yet since I’d seen ALMOST FAMOUS?  Something was rattling around making an nuisance of itself.  I got there… but

         The LIVE SHOWS (not remastered by Jimmy and Kevin Shirley) I figured were done and over with unless there was tape and as far as I knew there was doomed sound track laden footage of the SHOWS in NEW YORK etc. in 1973… and otherwise there were the usual bootlegs. 
 

         Usually bootlegs had (I figured) the usual crap on them.  Everyone talking, everyone passing the joint, someone trying to editorialize verbally through the entire concert?  I had no idea there were SUCH CLEAN RECORDINGS? 

         I was blown away, and certainly I had forgotten so much of this talking that Robert Plant does that sort of keeps the story going.

         I am not talking about WOW HOW COOL, I am talking about an experience I keep having… one that I had however well I could see the show, the sound was often horrible where I stood.  No, this is more, this is subliminal and significant and it just keeps getting ever more like that as each person comes and experience these moments and changes them forever… it is amazing!

         So I hear… ONE CONTINUOUS SHOW… never started… never stops… never interrupted never part of the moment I am in, but tacked all over the past AND THE FUTURE… and that blows my mind.  This is without drugs friends, this is the truth of my delusions.  I see ALL KINDS OF THINGS…. And I never spent a day training to do so that ended up being useful.

         No, this opened my mind.  This band, these shows, this amazing … GIFT… a way of deferring an annoying presence in one… and he friendship and vast empathy/unity of the entire band… it is not something that happens that often in nature. 

         But it could happen again. 

         I have a recipe.  It is not a magical formula or something that can hurt anyone.  It is not possible to guarantee no hurt come from associations, THAT would be a magical trick… no this is the loving pledge I gave, and it’s kicking in again. 

         I have a theory.  A man who is rather restless and life is treating him … well job is a drag… money’s a drag, girlfriend etc… well he goes out to countryside where he knows that especially before the overly warm summer (he is very fair skinned) he can enjoy the outdoors….

         Invite friends and those who you might know are at their deepest parts of hearts totally never NOT on your side?  And invite them too, no matter the shape of the friendship at this moment.

         YOU HAVE an idea, you know you do.  What you want is a concept, and this time you will not be dictating, so keep it possible that learning is actually another way of being “superior” to others… you can COOPERATE BETTER THAN ANYONE KNOWS…. I know you can, but it has gotten around that you can’t.  That is not true!!  So, you must overcompensate.  Anyone who leaves the wrong impression is ultimately at fault.  Clean it up!

         Then let it happen…  BUT I DIGRESS (and would not be ME if I did NOT).

         The point here is that what we have is a little misunderstanding of the POWER SUPPLY.  There is ever more proper energy being put into this mysterious space that we know exists but cannot fully comprehend or it would NEVER BE THE SAME COOL SPACE AGAIN…. And the feeling is making headlines!

         But so is this resurgence is the loudness of those who want to disturb anything that is not relevant immediately to them… for instance their need to believe that life is all taken care of from somewhere else, and we do not need to put IN FAITH to receive some feelings of it back… this whole determinism… I cannot really speak to that either.  It has made headlines for years, but they cannot sing the same tune, so they stay largely agitations and ineffectual… harmless, and inert. 

         But there is a burgeoning concept that perhaps we are more than just a calculator that is motivated by nostalgia and aspiration.  Perhaps we are sharing something.  Perhaps we swap up things very dear to us, but this is the heart of our intricate connection… and check you science lately… ain’t nothing not connected we just don’t know what it is.

         So before you run off and starting saying “HER BLOG SAYS THE AUDIENCE WAS BRAINWASHED IT IS A CULT… SHE IS A CULT…” can you listen to ONE MORE PARAGRAPH PLEASE…??

(I know you people are not like that, but hell why take a chance… that is a disclaimer, for all intents under law this is mere opinion and is not some ODD incantation or secret code)

         We listen to a show.  Yes, it is over in the most strict linear sense, but we listen with a new friend who has never WITH US or without heard the show before…. We are finding in our language that is spoken or just expressed a certain energy that we are wondering?  Was this always here?  Did this always feel sad, did this  moment really have the ability to contain ALL THAT and still have guts to it?  Was anyone able to understand another person musically the way John Bonham could virtually surrender himself to Jimmy’s musical communion.  It was amazing to watch, amazing to feel… it was just plain amazing.

         But it keeps changing when I share it… it grows as I now belive was the intent all along.

         There is a feeling I get… yes and I feel like a LOT get it not at that moment and not that way, but there is more here than ears hear… I GET SO TIRED OF MYSELF…

         Just wanted to remind those who waste precious NOW TIME thinking “I WISH I WERE THERE…” and “I WAS BORN TOO LATE”… realize this is so not really going to result in the amazing thing that you experience RIGHT NOW…

         Oh yeah… okay…. Everything is as it should be…

         You know what?  That is convenient and humble and all that?

         But everything IS AS I WILL IT WITH LOVE AS MOTIVE AND PAIN AS SCALE OF BALANCE AGAINST SELFISHNESS?

         IT IS MY DOING… IT IS YOUR DOING… IT IS OUR DOING… WE CAN HEAR IT IN THE SHOWS… I TRUST THAT HAS OCCURRED TO YOU OR WILL….

Much has gone one in the time since I last spoke to you, but I am not about a NEWSY blog today... IT IS LATE IN THE SLEEPING TIME.... or FAR TOO EARLY to pronounce it is a new day.... but I felt a need... a longing and my own love guided will has a crazee idea!

So why am I blogging?  Well honestly the better question is WHY AREN'T YOU?

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BE PART OF THIS DANGLING CONVERSATION that will never truly end... and has just begun.... so very little in our lives allow this clear and divine experience... the end... the beginning the world that we travel on together....

As I move along, the blogs will expand into true contact to go with the new and amazing features of this venture of THE HOW MANY MORE TIMES... this is a place of music and love... when this magic is operative there is always energy.... and released as light and warmth?

The elegant truth of our oneness will pry open our minds...

I have no special message but FAITH IN FAITH......

No matter how you observe the idea of our common interests and our disparate goals brings a verse to mind... I cannot claim a poetry, I haven't a whit what would make one call one thing A POEM... and another a stream of thoughts except the work required to FIT IN A FORM... we don't need this... we are fine, ultimately, and I am not just SUNNY AND LOVING...
